quick draw gun magnet
fast draw purchase-online

FYI: The first one above called the quick draw has the best price and most reviews.

There are a couple quick draw magnets available from two different companies and they’re both about the same thing. It’s a super strong magnet that has a couple screw holes in it allowing you to mount it just about anywhere you want.

  • The magnets can hold over 10 pounds of weight
  • Use them on handguns, rifles and shotguns or even a knife.

Just drill a couple holes and mount your magnet anywhere you want it, the possibilities are endless on where you can mount these magnets.

In your car, desk, closet, garage, in a drawer or if you’re a bit crazy you can mount it by your front door like the fellow gun lover in the picture below ;)

Mossberg has just announced their new lineup of inexpensive fun to shoot .22lr rifles they’re calling the Mossberg Blaze.

They are releasing about 12 different variations based off of the two core models. The have the awesome looking Blaze AK-47 which will come with a black synthetic stock and body or a wood body and stock. They have adjustable rear sights and front fiber optic sights.

The main line up of rifles is the Blaze standard and they come in four color combinations  and then a youth size in all black. The standard rifles are a great looking gun…reminds me of the Mini 14 a little bit.

MP5 22lr clones

The H&K MP5 is such an iconic rifle and one you would find hard to believe was designed in the 1960s.

H&K MP5 A5 .22 LR

Just in the past few years has the 22lr rifle manufactures decided to start producing a low cost version of the MP5 that can shoot the cheapest ammo on the planet….22lr.

Right now there are a couple companies each making a great replica of the MP5. The First is the officially licensed H&K MP5 that is made by umarex. It is mostly metal and feels like the real gun. It has the same lower grip, magazine size and rounded sights at the top.  This is a great replica and very well built. It cost around $450-$550 new.

The second MP5 replica in 22lr is the even more popular GSG 522. The GSG 522 SD is shown below and they make a carbine version that looks like the umarex above. The GSG version has a bit more plastic in the build and is $100-$200 cheaper depending on the model you get. They do have a 522 that is mostly metal instead of polymer. The GSG 522 is more popular because it’s cheaper but yet still shoots great. There are more accessories for the GSG 522 also and it has a built in picatinny rail up top. You can get a 110 round drum magazine, 10 round mags or 22 round mags as well as some parts and different stocks. Learn all about the GSG 522 here

How Many Mossberg 500 Models Are There

How many models of the Mossberg 500 do you think there are? I’ll tell you…there are over 25 and then you can get all kinds of options for each and different distributors and big box stores have different exclusive versions.

One of the most popular is the Mossberg 500 cruiser  that has a short 18″ barrel with the pistol grip…it’s one of their popular home defense line up of 500s. Not sure what else you’d use a pistol grip no stock shotgun for anyway besides going out and have a blast in a junk yard. I suppose if you hunt a lot it might be more of a challenge to use a stock-less shotgun versus your standard bird gun. Checkout the Mossberg 500 fan site for more models.

Mossberg also makes some of coolest tactical shotguns right out of the factory with rails and adjustable stocks like the SPX. It has a picatinny rail up to with some really nice ghost sites.

Like many very popular guns there are lots of accessories for the Mossberg 500.

There is a huge line of aftermarket stocks you can get and they’re typically very easy to change out. You can get all kinds of fiber optic sights as well as the very popular ghost ring sites as you can see at this website here.
